Co-Production
Co-production is key to developing strong community networks and local micro-economies. We work with the community to facilitate inclusion in the decision making process by developing strong, coherent community networks and service partnerships where the voice of the community is key to the design and delivery of services and interventions.

Key to co-production is the building of peoples psychosocial capacity to participate in the decision making process. A recognition that people have valuable knowledge, skills and experience that can inform the design and delivery of services. They can be active participants in the process rather than passive consumers of systematised solutions.

This process involves working closely with local authorities, health boards, the police, fire and rescue services and third sector organisations to facilitate community problem-solving and the development of meaningful solutions.

However, we do not support the neoliberal agenda for replacing state social policy with private or charitable social provision. We see the role of the public sector as one of supporting communities for improved well-being by maximising the effectiveness of any social provision, service, facility or intervention. This may only be realistically achieved by facilitating communities to identify and solve their own issues.
